The National Polytechnic Institute Félix HOUPHOUËT-BOIGNY (INPHB), a public higher education institution in Côte d’Ivoire, is launching its Digital Farming School.
The Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP) is supporting the institution in the success of this project, in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed in 2022, which commits both parties to collaborate in providing training to future experts in agricultural digital transition.
The ecosystem of the Digital Farming School will include an experimental farm where students can receive training in new technologies.
With a budget of $4.5 million, this school project supports Côte d’Ivoire’s agricultural transformation strategy and is expected to be established in 2024.
