Pastoralism, Transversal Perspectives at CIRAD
This webinar brings together researchers from CIRAD and Institut Agro to explore two main themes: first, the contribution of pastoralism to agroecological transition through mobility and biodiversity use, illustrated by case studies from Vietnam, Senegal, Burkina Faso, and France; second, the evolution of climate-related narratives on pastoralism since 1970, highlighting its underrepresentation in international arenas and the contrasting media framing due to a lack of suitable indicators for mobile systems.
