From the Land to the Classroom: Integrating Agroecology into Educational Projects in Africa
This meeting will examine how agroecology is being integrated into educational systems in Senegal, Niger, Burkina Faso, and Burundi. Khady Thiané Ndoye, Program Officer at CICODEV, Abdoulaye Djibo Ide, Project Assistant, Eliane Longet, teacher and co-founder, and Prosper Niyonsaba, Sector Manager, will present school gardens and school canteens as drivers of food sovereignty.
The webinar promotes teacher training and the education of future decision-makers in order to build local, sustainable, and resilient agricultural models.
